iTerm (terminal for OS X)

Uncategorized — Tags: — Panayotis @ 03:09

Being used to Linux, I was not satisfied with OS X terminal. I do not know, something was wrong with the fonts (esp. when I had to edit Greek text), something was not right with the terminal emulation mode when I SSH-ed to linux machines. Then I found iTerm which is GREAT!

I also liked the “Bookmarks” and “Profiles” features.

Highly recomended if you work at the command line on OS X.

  1. Hi,
I understand that you are the author of lilina.
    You write:
“It features feed auto-discovery and an easy-to-use interface.”
I could not find the corresponding skript or code. Could you help ?
    Thanks.

  2. Hi Florian,

I guess the problem is that the last version does not include a link to “edit.php” which is the “administration” page.

    Open http://yoursite/…/lilinainstallation/edit.php in your browser.

  3. Hi!

Nice program but I can’t figure out how to get greek characters on the terminal. The options are not intuitive (nor is the design). If you figured this out, please send (or post) some instructions (and some screenshots would be nice also).

    Thanks!
